DesAcc policy is not to make changes in the data provided by our clients. We do not add, delete or reorganize the data.
Conversion of one study requires the same processes and the same effort as the full set of studies. For that reason, we do not offer reduced pricing in these situations.
Most of our clients submit data on MOD, CD, or DVD. We can also accept DVD-RAM, DAT, DLT, LTO, AIT, flash drives and USB hard disks. If you have media that you’re not sure about, please call and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.
We have extensive experience with ACR and IAC data, please contact us if you have questions concerning accreditation from other bodies
If you are sure that the data from your PACS contains the full DICOM information, either method is acceptable. If there is any question about this, it may be better to use data taken directly from the scanner. Example: If your facility prepares disks to be given to patients, your PACS may be programmed to burn jpeg or HDML files but not DICOM. These discs would not be acceptable for our use.
We would prefer to have all of the clinical studies on one disk. If this isn’t practical for some reason we are able to use individual disks.
The ACR wants two copies of your studies. They prefer that the studies all be on one disc since it simplifies their process.
